So it only happening when you give it gas but not when coasting, with the foot off the gas? All signs do seem to point to a fuel delivery issue such as the fuel pump. Perhaps there's air getting in the fuel line from a pin hole or something or a bad seal. Similar to drinking from a straw and it has a hole in it? So it may not leak fuel, but somehow can suck air into the line when you give it gas. Should be an easy diagnostic and fix by any mechanic who's worth their given credentials/certifications. I'd take it to another dealership.

What you should never do is take the advice of TFP. They are a product outreach front for the chlorine industry. Their entire goal is to get ignorant homeowners to use 5 times more chlorine than is necessary (an amount well above what the CDC considers to be safe) as routine maintenance and ten times that when trying to get rid of algae. Here's something the TFP doesn't want you to know- the most effective way to get rid of algae is not using ten times the chlorine that's necessary, it's to use sodium bromide when you shock your pool. TFP spreads the lie that if you put any sodium bromide in your pool, you have forever turned it into a bromine pool. This is bullshit. If you use sodium bromide as an algaecide in the amount given in the directions (4 oz per 10k gallons of water) then it will be ten times more effective than high chlorine alone and the bromine/bromide will all degrade to bromate within a few days. Sodium bromide takes an electron from chlorine, turning it into bromine, which is the active form. When the bromine encounters something to sterilize, it loses an electron and becomes bromamine. Unlike Chlorine,which is expended once it becomes chloramine, bromamine is still as effective at sterilization as bromine. Once the bromamine loses another electron, it becomes bromide again, which steals an electron from chlorine, making it into chloride, and the bromide becomes bromine again. This repeating cycle is why bromine is more effective at killing algae than chlorine. Algae gets in places where there isn't much circulation and all the chlorine in those spaces is quickly rendered useless by conversion to chloramine. Bromine just takes an electron from chlorine passing by in the circulating water and keeps killing algae indefinitely until UV rays cause it to start rapidly cycling from bromide to bromine and it goes of the rails, degrading to bromate.. TFP hates sodium bromide because it lowers chlorine usage and is therefore the enemy. They spread the false story that once you put any sodium bromide in your pool, the only way you can make it a chlorine pool is to completely empty it. However, the rate of decay of the bromine/bromide to bromate under UV rays is high. Within 1.5-3 days depending on the levels of UV hitting your pool, the bromine is all degraded to bromate, which does nothing and is just a waste product. If you put large amounts of bromine in your chlorine pool then you're screwed. It might take weeks for it to all degrade to bromate. The amount needed as an algaecide is only .06 ppm. That .06 ppm bromine will turn a pool with 30 ppm chlorine to .5 ppm chlorine in a single day. However, that rapid consumption of chlorine ends in a couple days, and it's actually a positive to have the bromine do that because it quickly eliminates the high chlorine ppm that you used to chock your pool.

I do hear it. Although i dont think it translated well on the camera audio vs what you hear in person since there is other ambient noise outside and going on in the cabin like you stated in text at the beginning. That is kinda weird. I wonder what is it about the engine design that is causing that. I was really considering this model. Ill probably still take one out for a test drive and see what happens.

QUESTION for you- I had a set of expensive WeatherTechs floorliners few years ago- and hated them. They are a very hard, somewhat shiny plastic. When new, they were beautiful. In less than a year they had gone through one Ohio winter, meaning slush and gritty dirt. That hard, shiny plastic turned into a mass of scratches, and they looked like cheap junk. For my next car I got a different brand that was more rubbery, and they have that dimpled surface like your Kia liners. They show no scratches, wear well, and scrub up beautifully. But they don’t make them for my new Kia. Question for you- I’m looking for a set for my new Niro. Are those Kia mats hard or a little more soft/rubbery? Do you think they will show scratches?

@Everyone, save your time do not watch this BS video. This guy has no idea what he is talking about. He states he traded his new Rav4 in because it was making a noise he did not like instead of getting it fixed. He also claims Kia's loose value by the thousands all because CarMax of all people would only give him 28k on a 33k Kia, yeah dude its because its CarMax, that has nothing to do with the value of the car. He also complains about the noise produced by the hybrid system, says it drives him bonkers and refuses to believe its supposed to make a noise even thought it flat out states it in the owners manual. Oh he also stated that 2024 Kia Sportage Hybrid does not come with adaptive cruse control which is also untrue, just because he does not know how use it does not mean it does not come with it. This guy is a total snowflake and I truly hope that the does not vote in November, its people like him is the reason why we have a puppet in the white house right now!

3:56 2 very important things that nobody has mentioned 1) don’t go from backwash straight to the filter setting, always rinse first or else you will put shit right back in your pool that you don’t want. 2) pick one direction to rotate your filter position, either clockwise or counter clockwise. This wears the gasket out evenly and it will last much longer.
